Symptoms of OCD include obsessions, which are thoughts that recur and persist even when the goal is to ignore and/or confront them.
People with OCD perform tasks, or compulsions, to rid themselves of the obsession-related anxiety. Some people with OCD also experience sexual obsessions where they mull over mental images of kissing, touching, oral sex, intercourse, and rape with strangers and acquaintances.
Sexual obsessions may occur with any person at any age. Lastly, people with OCD often struggle with compulsive hoarding.
