I will help guide you through your difficult time in a private setting with sensitivity and caring. Together we can help you gain understanding and move forward to a more peaceful and joyful life. I am passionate about helping people realize their fullest potential and offer hope and healing through art therapy.
Art is a universal language with a deep connection to human emotions. Art Therapy provides a non-verbal way for those who have experienced trauma to explore and express feelings of loss, fear, anger, grief and isolation. It can enable healing and personal growth for people of all ages and stages of life in a non-threatening, therapeutic environment. No prior art experience or talent is needed to benefit from this unique expressive form of therapy.
Additionally, I provide Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), also known as Tapping. EFT is based on the use of acupressure points for healing negative emotions and distress in the body. Tapping on different meridian points releases blocks, allowing energy to flow more freely and providing profound emotional and physical healing.
I am an artist and Art Therapist with over 20 years experience in aiding and counseling people of all ages through art. I have worked with individuals and groups in many settings, including hospices, residential treatment facilities, in-patient, out-patient facilities and Alzheimer’s and memory care facilities.
